Bloodstock adds Cradle of Filth and announces Wednesday line-up
Just 85 days to go until Catton Park opens its gates
Last updated 18th May 2021
85 days before Catton Park opens its gates, Bloodstock has announced some further changes to the line-up including the Sophie Lancaster Stage bill on the Wednesday.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Norwegian symphonic black metallers Dimmu Borgir have postponed their appearance at Bloodstock to 2022 and Cradle of Filth will take their place this summer.
Dimmu Borgir’s representatives say: “Due to restrictions and uncertainties regarding international travel and logistics, we have to postpone Dimmu Borgir’s performance at Bloodstock until next year.
“The band is absolutely gutted about this, having to cancel Bloodstock again, but we have already confirmed with Vicky and the Bloodstock team that the band will be back in the UK for the 2022 edition. Stay safe!”
Newly expanded to five days in 2021, Bloodstock has also revealed the details of the Wednesday line-up on the Sophie Lancaster Stage.
British thrash trailblazers Onslaught will top the Wednesday bill with Beholder (playing their farewell show) and Ward XVI also confirmed. Raised By Owls and Anakim move to the Wednesday from their previously confirmed Thursday slots.
Headlined by Devin Townsend (Friday), Kreator (Saturday) and Judas Priest (Sunday), Bloodstock takes place from Wednesday 11th to Sunday 15th August 2021. Tickets are on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets now.
