As an early Halloween treat, Bloodstock organisers have added six new bands to next summer’s line-up.

Joining previously confirmed headliners Sabaton at the Catton Park metal extravaganza are Children of Bodom who will play a UK exclusive show on the Ronnie James Dio stage on Friday 9th August.

No strangers to Bloodstock, the inimitable Cradle of Filth will grace the main stage on Saturday. Dani Filth comments: “Obviously we want to finish what we started ten years ago, that is to finish our set!

“And for that alone we are really, really looking forward to bringing a massive Cradle show back to the Bloodstock fans. We f**king can’t wait!”

In a UK festival exclusive, the mighty Soilwork have picked up a coveted Sunday slot, while Swedish death metal luminaries Hypocrisy play an exclusive UK show on the Sunday.

Taking to the Main Stage on the Sunday are ex-Twisted sister frontman Dee Snider, who released his solo album ‘For The Love of Metal’ earlier this year, and US heavy metal bastions Queensryche.

Bloodstock Open Air once again takes place on the sacrosanct turf of Catton Park in Derbyshire from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th August 2019.

Early bird standard tickets and a veritable plethora of VIP Ticket packages are available from Kerrang! Radio Tickets right now.
