Venom Prison, Napalm Death and five more for Bloodstock 2021
Judas Priest's slot is now a European exclusive too
A further seven bands have been added to the Bloodstock 2021 line-up just sixteen weeks before the Catton Park metal extravaganza kicks off.
Landing a coveted Ronnie James Dio Main Stage slot on Friday 13th August are Welsh death metallers Venom Prison, while Borstal, featuring Nick Barker (ex-Cradle of Filth, Brujeria) on drums, will open the stage on the Saturday.
Venom Prison said: “We’re are honoured to be invited to play at the legendary Bloodstock Festival again, having first appeared at the 2017 edition. This will be our first show in nearly two years since the world was shut down by the pandemic. We can’t wait to step out on stage again and cause utter destruction. See you in the pit.”
Bloodywood have pushed their Sophie Lancaster Stage performance back to 2022, however the good news is that the mighty Napalm Death will take the Friday night headline slot.
Cornish rockers King Creature and melodic/power metal beasts, Primitai, will also play the Sophie stage on the Friday with Terra IV and Internal Conflict confirmed for the Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Alongside the new additions, it’s been announced that Judas Priest’s fervently awaited headline slot on the Sunday night will be their only European performance of 2021.
Bloodstock 2021 takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from Wednesday 11th to Sunday 15th August 2021 and tickets are on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets now.
The headliners are Devin Townsend (Friday), Kreator (Saturday) and the aforementioned Judas Priest (Sunday).
