Bloodstock 2014 Adds Three New Acts
Joining the previously announced headliners Emperor and Down
Bloodstock Open Air has added three fresh acts to next summer’s metal extravaganza.
Newly confirmed are American purveyors of savage thrash riffs Flotsam & Jetsam and metal icons Saxon who play Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Currently hard at work on their sixth album, Polish death metallers Decapitated will also be bringing their brutal sounds to Catton Park on the Saturday.
They enthused: "Bloodstock, here we come!!! Finally, after many years, it's time to play at one of the biggest metal festivals in the UK. Can't f**ing wait!
“It's an honour to perform on the Bloodstock stage for so many people. Hopefully we will kick your asses with our new album! See you soon!"
The newly unveiled acts join Friday night’s headliners Down and Saturday bill-toppers Emperor – both acts are playing UK exclusives.
Bloodstock takes place at Catton Park, Derbyshire from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th August 2014. Early bird tickets are on sale now priced at £115 for all four days.
