Blink-182 have axed tonight’s sold-out show at Bournemouth International Centre.

In a brief statement issued by their tour promoters SJM, the band have cited illness as the cause of the cancellation but say their shows at London O2 Arena on Wednesday (19th July) and Thursday (20th July) will still go ahead.

The short statement reads: “It is with deep regret that Blink-182 have to cancel their show this evening at Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) due to band illness, on doctors advise.

“Refunds will be available from point of purchase. The shows at the O2 in London will go ahead as planned.”

Blink-182 kicked off their UK tour in Cardiff on 3rd July and the trio have taken in arenas in Nottingham, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Liverpool over the past few weeks.

Their show at Manchester Arena was cancelled due to the attack on the venue and a separate event was announced on the same night (Friday 14th July) at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl.
