Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society and Napalm Death have been added to the Bloodstock Festival bill.

Black Label Society will step in to the special guest slot on the Sunday’s main stage lineup. Zakk Wylde enthused: "We’re looking forward to seeing the mighty UK Chapter of the all-mighty Black Label when we get rolling at the Bloodstock festival in August!" Black Label Society released their ninth studio album ‘Catacombs Of The Black Vatican’ last April, entering the UK album chart at number 30.

Also bringing their fearsome sounds to the UK’s heaviest metal festival are grindcore legends Napalm Death, who appear on the main stage on Saturday.

Frontman Mark 'Barney' Greenway enthuses, "Playing at Bloodstock is literally like stepping out of our front doors to climb onstage, so we'll be projecting a great big wall of noise from Birmingham to Catton Park!

“We personally know most of the staff and crew, so we look forward to watching them flog themselves to death, while we stand idly by and take in the sights, smells, and sounds of this friendly old fest. Grind!”

The band unleashed their fifteenth studio album ‘Apex Predator – Easy Meat’ just last week.

Completing the trio of new additions are Swedish metalheads Wolf, who enthused: “The Wolves are back and we can't wait to play our favourite festival again! Bloodstock, let it be loud!”

They all join the likes of Within Temptation, Trivium, Sabaton, Rob Zombie and Opeth for the Catton Park event from 6-9 August.
