Billie Joe Armstrong shares Green Day ‘Bang Bang’ single artwork
Excitement is building ahead of the song’s premiere
With just three days to go until Green Day’s new single ‘Bang Bang’ graces our lugholes,singer Billie Joe Armstrong has unleashed the single artwork.
The cover depicts the song title in large letters made up of a collage of faces and graffiti-esque lettering with Green Day spray-painted in red paint in the foreground.
The Instagram post comes with the hashtag #revrad, which fans are speculating points towards an unconfirmed album title ‘Revolution Radio’.

Arguably the most anticipated comeback in rock this year, ‘Bang Bang’ gets its premiere this coming Thursday (11th August).
Announcing the single last week, Billie Joe tweeted: “dear friends! green day is putting out a new single called “BANG BANG” August 11. stay tuned for more details..’
Green Day have spent much of 2016 holed up in the studio working on the follow-up to 2012’s ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, ¡Tré! trilogy.
