Biffy Clyro and Radiohead to headline new Scottish music festival TRNSMT

Biffy Clyro and Radiohead have been unveiled the blockbuster headliners of a brand new three-day festival in Scotland.

TRNSMT Festival (pronounced ‘Transmit’) hits Glasgow Green on the weekend on Friday 7th to Sunday 9th July and is a metropolitan, non-camping event that hosts ‘some of the biggest names in music alongside the very best local talent.’

Fitting into both those brackets, Kilmarnock prodigal sons Biffy Clyro will headline on the Sunday night on a bill that also boasts Twin Atlantic.

Radiohead headline on the Friday night with Reading/Leeds headliners Kasabian doing the honours on the Saturday.

Geoff Ellis, Head of DF Concerts, enthuses: “We’re incredibly pleased to be bringing such a fresh, new festival to Scotland. TRNSMT will bring together the best in live music, from global acts to the best cutting edge artists on the King Tut’s Stage, powered by Utilita - against the iconic skyline of Glasgow.
