Avenged Sevenfold Unveil 'Hail to the King' Clip – LISTEN
They build excitement ahead of the new album
Avenged Sevenfold have premiered a tantalising snippet of their new album ‘Hail to the King’.
The 30-song taster of the album title track kicks off with trademark Synsyster Gates guitar riffs before M.Shadows blasts:
“There’s a taste of fear when the henchmen call, I am fierce to tame him, I am fierce to claim it all. Hail to the King! Hail to the one!”

Set for release on Monday 26th August, ‘Hail to the King’ is Avenged Sevenfold’s first album with new drummer Arin Ilejay who has toured with the band since 2011.
It’s also their first without any input from their late drummer, founding member and songwriter Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan who died in December 2009.
‘Hail to the King’ was produced by Mike Elizondo, who first joined forces with the band on 2010’s critically acclaimed ‘Nightmare’.
The record’s artwork sees their Death Bat mascot get transformed into a grim reaper-esque monarch who slays hapless soldiers in battle.
