Avenged Sevenfold To Headline Friday Night At Download Festival
Rob Zombie is confirmed as the main support
Heavy metal monoliths Avenged Sevenfold will headline the opening night at Download Festival next summer.
After conquering the charts with their critically acclaimed sixth album ‘Hail to the King’ this summer, Avenged Sevenfold will top the bill at Donington Park on Friday 13th June.
The band enthused: “Friday, 13th June 2014 will mark a momentous occasion in the history of Avenged Sevenfold as we continue the tradition of spectacular Download performances by becoming headliners for the very first time, not just at Download, but at any UK festival.”
Three years on from headlining the second stage at Download, horror metal overlord Rob Zombie will join A7X on the first day of the festival as main support.
Tickets are available now at an early bird rate of £10 off 2013 prices until 9am Friday 8th November 2013.
