Architects announce February and March 2022 UK arena tour
For Those That Wish To Exist Tour
Last updated 12th Aug 2021
Fresh from storming in at Number 1 with ‘For Those That Wish To Exist’ earlier this month, metalcore giants Architects have announced a five-date headline UK arena tour for 2022.
Architects kick off their trek at Leeds First Direct Arena on Tuesday 22nd February 2022 and call in at Glasgow The SSE Hydro, Nottingham Motorpoint Arena and London Alexandra Palace before culminating at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on Tuesday 1st March 2022.
Tickets to Architects’ For Those That Wish To Exist UK arena tour go on sale from Kerrang! Radio Tickets at 10am on Friday 19th March 2021.
When ‘For Those That Wish To Exist’ hit Number 1 on 5th March, Architects dedicated their chart triumph to late-great guitarist Tom Searle, who died from cancer aged 28 in August 2016.
“I cannot begin to tell you how much this means to us,” Architects said. “Thank you to every single person who bought this record. We love you so much and we could not have done this without you.
“To have an album that connects this much, with what we’re talking about - trying and pushing for a better world - it’s unbelievable. As ever, everything we do is for Tom Searle, our brother.”
Among the 15 searing songs on ‘For Those That Wish To Exist’ are current single ‘Meteor’ plus ‘Animals’, ‘Black Lungs’ and ‘Dead Butterflies.’
