A smorgasbord of huge names have been added to this summer’s incredible Download Festival line-up.

The partying machine that is Andrew W.K is making his debut appearance on the turf of Donington Park, while grunge heroes L7 have confirmed their first live date in over 15 years.

Andrew W.K enthused: “Aaaaahhhhhhrrrrgggaaaa!!! I'm totally chuffed about playing and partying at my first ever Download! I've no doubt that it will be partier than even the partiest party I've ever been to!”

Also confirmed are thrash titans Testament, Swedish metallers In Flames, the deliciously brutal King 810 (who were forced to axe their show last year), Danny Worsnop’s new band We Are Harlot and metal supergroup Hellyeah.

In Flames frontman Anders Friden said of their slot: “It will be fantastic to be back on UK soil. Download has always been a great festival. We’re looking forward to meeting friends and playing our take on heavy metal in front of some of the greatest fans that there is.”

Other acts added include the mighty All That Remains, horror rockers Fearless Vampire Killers, former KISS axe wielder Ace Frehley, Mark Tremonti’s self-titled solo act, retro hard rockers Black Star Riders and British veterans Thunder.

Danny Bowes of Thunder commented: “Download is one of my favourite festivals in the world, so I can’t wait for June to come around. Donington was where we made our mark back in 1532, so it's fitting somehow to be back at Download this year when we release 'Wonder Days', our first studio album for 6 years.”

Completing the fresh wave of additions are The Ghost Inside, Defeater, Chelsea Grin, Evil Scarecrow, Bombus, Gnarwolves, Hands Like Houses, Stray from the Path, Creeper and Blood Youth.

The plethora of talent join the mind-blowingly awesome bill that boasts headliners Slipknot, Music and KISS plus the likes of Judas Priest, Faith No More, Motley Crue, Black Stone Cherry, Enter Shikari, Marilyn Manson, Five Finger Death Punch, A Day To Remember and Lamb of God.

Download Festival takes place at Donington Park from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th June 2015. Tickets are available at 2014 prices for just TWO MORE DAYS. Head over to aloud.com to get yours!!!
