Duff McKagan has revealed that Angus Young played a practical joke on Guns N’ Roses as they touched down in Australia for the latest leg of their Not in This Lifetime... Tour.

Guns N’ Roses were held for some time on a plane at Sydney Airport with staff telling them it was due to security checks.

Axl, Slash, Duff and co. waited patiently on board only for their good friend Angus to show up in an orange airport workers’ vest.

As well as pranking Guns N’ Roses, Fernando Lebeis from the band’s management team posted a pic on Instagram of a stunning bunch of flowers Angus sent the band for their arrival.

The flowers were accompanied by a “Welcome to Sydney!” card signed by Angus and his wife Ellen. "I have missed these two, Angus and Ella. AC/DC Family," Lebeis wrote.

Some media outlets are now speculating that Angus will be joining Guns N’ Roses on stage at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on Friday and Saturday night (9th and 10th February), reprising the collaboration from Coachella Festival 2016 where they performed the AC/DC anthems ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ and ‘Riff Raff’.

Axl Rose, of course, fronted AC/DC in 2016 for the European and North American dates of the Rock or Bust World Tour replacing Brian Johnson.

Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Not In This Lifetime… Tour’ lands in the UK for two nights at London Stadium on 16th and 17th June.
