HIM & 15 More Confirmed For Sonisphere

A further 16 acts have been added to this summer’s spectacular Sonisphere line-up.

Making their Knebworth debut, the incredible HIM will play their only UK show of 2014 at the festival.

Bassist Mikko ‘Mige’ Paananen said: “We, the merry men of HIM, will bring our socially dysfunctional selves to Sonisphere UK next summer.

“We are like a bad tasting but nutritious grandma biscuit you can dip into your inner worlds. It'll be fun and possibly out of control, you'll see. There will be smoke, lights and psychedelia. Sweat and zealotry. Men will cry. It’s going to be a F***ING EMOTIONADO!”

Already confirmed for a coveted Apollo stage performance on the Saturday, thrash legends Anthrax will play their classic album ‘Among The Living’ in its entirety on the Friday.

Scott Ian said: “We love to play these songs and people love to hear them so we're really f***ing excited to be doing this special show the day before our main-stage performance at Sonisphere.”

Also newly confirmed are Comeback Kid, Sweet Savage, October File, Eureka Machines, The Bots, Straight Lines, Zico Chain, Black Dogs, Love Zombies, Stormzone Shrine, Rival State, The Wild Lies, The Raven Age and Empire Kill.
