Novelty items like fancy dress and slogan T-shirts have topped the list of the most unwanted Christmas presents.
It comes as Oxford charity Oxfam urges people to donate any gifts that they won't use, rather than leave them at the back of a wardrobe.
Lorna Fallon is the charity's Director of retail:
"Rather than just throwing things to the back of the wardrobe, it's really about how can we find a home, find a use and keep those items in circulation longer, which has a more positive impact on the environment as well as helping us raise funds and have a positive social impact."
Lorna tells us over the last few years they've seen a shift in items donated, with joke novelty items donated more.
She tells us about some of the items that have been found to be the most unwanted festive gifts:
"Brand new underwear, toiletries, slippers, sleepwear and bags for instance. All of those items are practical and we can find a home for them."
Lorna says having a clear out of unwanted items can also be a 'feel good moment' for people at this time of year.
The Oxfam charity say they can also move items around to stores to where they are more likely to be needed, like fancy dress to university towns in time for freshers weeks.
