Searches underway to find man 'considered a risk to women' after absconding in Ilford

Police are searching for a man who absconded from a care facility in Ilford while on escorted leave.

44-year-old Balasankar Narayanan was last seen on Sunday, August 4th, where he ran off from staff in a park.

He is described as violent and 'considered a risk to women.'

Metropolitan Police are urging the public for help to find Narayanan, but not to approach him if seen, and call officers immediately.

The force say he has links across London, particularly Newham, Greenford, Hammersmith, Highgate and Ilford.

He also has links to the West Midlands and has before been found in Grays and Manchester.
