Man arrested after three people stabbed in Birmingham
The 64-year-old is being held on suspicion of attempted murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two women and a man were stabbed in Birmingham.
Police were called to Doncaster Way in Hodge Hill just before 9pm last night (31 December).
Two women, aged 18 and 20, were attacked, along with a 25-year-old man.
The 20-year-old woman remains in hospital with injuries which are serious but not life-threatening.
The other two victims have since been released from hospital.
A 64-year-old man, who is believed to have been known to the victims, remains in custody.
Detective Inspector Tom Lyons, from West Midlands Police, said: “We have officers at the scene today speaking to witnesses and recovering CCTV and would appeal for anyone with information to come forward.”
