Teenager Luke Littler becomes PDC World Darts Champion

Luke Littler is the World Darts Champion after beating Michael Van Gerwen in the final of the PDC World Championships.

Luke the Nuke comfortably beat three-time PDC World Champion 7-3 during their clash at Alexandra Palace tonight.

Littler has been in back-to-back spots in the World Championship final and was the favourite to win - at just 17 years of age.

Littler, was denied in last year's final by Luke Humphries, but has had a sensational year on the professional circuit, picking up 10 titles including the Premier League and his first major win at the Grand Slam of Darts.

He also won Young Sports Personality of the Year in December.

Littler is the reigning Premier League Darts, Grand Slam and World Series Finals champion. Littler also won the 2024 Bahrain Darts Masters, the 2024 Poland Darts Masters, the 2024 Belgian Darts Open, the 2024 Austrian Darts Open and the 2023 PDC World Youth Championship.
