Locals in shock
We spoke to locals in the area who say they're shocked at the crime.
Jamie Carson told us it's horrifying.
"I couldn't believe how close it is...to find out something like this has happened on Christmas day is soul destroying, we couldn't be more sad for the families involved."
Jamie had decided to go the scene out of respect.
" We can't believe it, we're absolutely shocked... it's a lovely little community we've got here, you see the same faces at the local shops and you don't know - I might have passed these people, so out of respect for people that may have lost people here, we just wanted to come up and see if there was anything we could do.
"...To find out this happens on your doorstep on the most special day of the year, it's horrifying."
"Malcolm Cocklin is another local resident of the area. He told us that incidents like this don't happen there.
"It's normally a very quiet, peaceful estate, there's hardly any noise after 7 pm it's just a really nice quiet suburbia.
"We lived closer to the centre of the town and we moved down here because we really like the peace and quiet of the place and that's what attracted us to it. We've never heard of any issues previously before what's happened here, which is terribly sad.
"It's gutting for the whole community that something like this could happen.
"It's a massive shock, you don't expect it on your doorstep.
"It's the sort of thing of worst nightmares, especially on a day like Christmas Day which is all about family and love. It's terrible. It's really really terrible."
The police are asking anyone with information or footage which you think could help the investigation, to contact them by phone by calling 101 and to quote the reference number 43240622935.
