Kensington Palace has confirmed that Kate, the Princess of Wales will be attending Wimbledon.

Palace officials said that Kate will be attending the men's final on Sunday evening (July 14th), in her first public outing since the King's Birthday celebrations.

The final will see Serbian Novak Djokovic compete against reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz for the trophy - in a rematch of the 2023 final.

As well as this, this will be Kate's second public engagement following her cancer diagnosis earlier in the year.

The announcement comes after the Prince and Princess of Wales wished their aunt Princess Anne well following a horse riding accident.

The Princess Royal had been riding a horse on the Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire last month when she fell off the horse, resulting in a concussion.

After being admitted to hospital, she was eventually discharged five days later - alongside her husband and daughter Zara Tindall.

Anne has now returned to frontline royal duties, attending the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) National Championships on Friday (July 12th).

Taking to their social media channels, the Prince and Princess of Wales welcomed their aunt back to her duties, writing in a post on X: "Super trooper! So great to see you back so soon! W & C x."
