Man dies after A19 collision

A man has died after a collision on the A19 Northbound last night.

The collision involved a male pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene and two vehicles.

An appeal has been launched by Cleveland police for witnesses to the incident, which happened around half a mile from the A689 on-slip.

The force says the man’s family have been informed.

A formal identification process is yet to take place.
