We were so privileged that our first offering for Jazz FM Voices was Renell Shaw's Windrush Suite with Orphy Robinson MBE, produced by Chris Philips.
Hosted by Orphy, this was the first time the songwriter, composer and Rudimental bassist's suite (specially commissioned by The Vortex Jazz Club) was heard in full on the radio.
The suite features an array of musicians and contributors, including interviews with Renell’s grandparents and an introduction from Dave Holland and narrative from writer and broadcaster Kevin LeGendre.
