The charity Youth Music has launched their 'Incubator Fund' for 2020.

The fund is designed to help open up access to sustainable careers in music for people aged 18-25, particularly those who are underrepresented; and to support creative employers to innovate and incubate new and diverse talent. Successful applicants will be able to deliver their own projects and receive support from organisations through incubation, training, mentoring and networking.

Grants of £5,000 to £30,000 are available to businesses, collectives, and not-for-profits working in the music industries.

The first round of the applications are now open with a deadline of Friday 14th August at youthmusic.org.uk, with applicants being notified in October 2020 whether they have been successful. A second round of applications will open in February of 2021.

Youth Music is a national charity supporting young people’s lives in music.
