Last updated 21st Sep 2020
The organisation Women in Jazz are launching their new mentorship programme today.
The scheme, called ‘Amplify’, is designed to help artists reach the next stages of their careers.
You can be any age or gender to apply for the sessions which include one-on-one support and advice for strategy and branding, marketing and releasing music commercially.
To apply, you can send a short biography and list three areas you need help with to lou@womeninjazz.co.uk by 28th September.
Women In Jazz began as a mission to celebrate female talent and help solve the under-representation of women in jazz, with only 5% of jazz instrumentalists being women in the UK. Over the last 2 years, the organisation has supported over 400 artists through their work in education with Guildhall, Tomorrow’s Warriors, Barbican, Sound Connections and Trinity Laben.
