Vote now for MOBO Best Jazz Act
Public voting closes this Friday October 23 for a strong list of Best Jazz nominees. The award is to be made at a pre-MOBO London event.
The first of this year’s MOBO Awards will be presented at a special ‘Pre-MOBO Award Show’ in London to celebrate the UK’s finest talents in R&B, Soul, Jazz and Gospel music. The inaugural invite only event will feature presentations of the MOBO Best R&B/Soul, Best Jazz and Best Gospel awards, as well as performances from established and emerging British acts.Â
Soul singers Mica Paris and Omar are to perform on the night plus MOBO Best Jazz nominees, saxophonist Courtney Pine CBE and jazz singer-songwriter Julia Biel with more from the world of R&B and Gospel. American gospel music star Marvin Winans Jr, from the Winans’ family gospel dynasty, is flying in to London just to host the event.
These three categories are currently open for public vote at mobo.com with voting closing this Friday October 23.
