Tony Bennett / Bill Evans sessions to be re-issued on vinyl LP
Classic jazz recordings ’The Tony Bennett / Bill Evans Album’ and 'Together Again' will be re-issued as part of a 4 LP vinyl collection.
A classic jazz recording, ’The Tony Bennett / Bill Evans Album’ will be re-issued as part of a 4 LP vinyl collection available on April 28th. It will be the first disc, featuring their work with well known standards. The LP ‘Together Again’, which saw them team up again two years later, will be included plus two more discs with additional songs and alternate takes from these two sessions. One of the collection highlights is Bennett’s vocalised version of Evans’ jazz standard ‘Waltz For Debby’ with additional an alternate take.
Vinyl lovers will also get a 12 page booklet and a collectable 12” x 12” photo of the two.
Tony Bennett has been enjoying renewed interest since his recent collaboration with pop star Lady Gaga, even figuring as entertainment at her wedding. Bill Evans sadly passed away in 1980.
