The Soho Jazz Jam returns

A free music party is set to return for a third edition this weekend, as the Soho Jazz Jam takes over Carlisle Street in the centre of London. The event features more than 40 musicians performing over 6 hours of entertainment including all spectrums of jazz, be-bop, soul, swing and even rap, with food and drink served all afternoon. Organiser George Hudson told Jazz FM “this is really an opportunity to bring together all of the working musicians who are in Soho every night of the week and showcase their talent with a big stage and a big crowd.”

The event runs 2-8pm on Saturday 8 September. Tickets are free but limited so George says the best advice is to register via the website, or just turn up nice and early on Saturday afternoon.
