The Durham Distillery Composition Prize 2015 seeks young composers

The best composition written for Big Band by anyone aged between 16 and 25 wins. The winner will have their piece performed live at the Pizza Express Jazz Club, London.

Competition for The Durham Distillery Composition Prize 2015 is now underway. The prize looks for the best composition written for Big Band by anyone aged between 16 and 25. The winner will have their piece performed live at the Pizza Express Jazz Club, London, and the top three will all receive feedback from leading UK jazz figures Pete Churchill and Stan Sulzmann.
