Portland, Oregon based soul singer Tahirah Memory has added two new London dates to her UK tour with two intimate nights at The Pheasantry in London’s Kings Road on July 1st & 2nd.

Tahirah is perhaps best known for her appearances backing Jazz FM's 2015 Soul Artist of the Year, Jarrod Lawson. She has been seen and featured in more than 50 shows with him in the last year, in more than 17 countries around the world. Her debut album 'Pride' climbed to #1 on the UK Soul Chart, and brings songs of love and pain, deep grooves, poetic and evolved lyrics. For these specials shows, she is joined by Lawson, supporting her on keys and background vocals.

The pair are also releasing a new exclusively signed and numbered four song duets E.P on 180g vinyl, available at all UK shows.

The show on July 2nd will be a special acoustic performance of Tahirah's debut album 'Pride', plus a selection of covers and duets, accompanied only by Jarrod Lawson on piano. These shows have been added due to popular demand following quickly sold out dates at Pizza Express in Soho June 28th & 29th 2016. In addition Tahirah and the band will play a night at Manchester’s Band on The Wall on Saturday July 9th.

Tahirah recent made the news with the incredible success of her crowd funding campaign for the tour. One generous donor helped her surpass the $7,000 target with a single donation of $5,000.
