Jazz stars Jamie Cullum and Gregory Porter added their soulful class to the BBC’s flagship light entertainment TV show Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night with a live performance of their duet ‘Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood’. Jazz music’s Little and Large sang the song, first recorded by Nina Simone in 1964, with full orchestral accompaniment as contestants Aljaz Skorjanec and Iveta Lukosiute performed their dance routine.

The show was also notable for the departure of its first contestant, Master Chef TV presenter Greg Wallace, whose wooden dancing failed to Impress.
