Steely Dan are coming back to the UK for their first live show in nearly ten years – they last played here with their ‘Left Bank Holiday’ tour in June 2009. The jazz-rock supergroup have confirmed a headline slot for London’s Bluesfest on Sunday 29th October, including founder members Donald Fagen and Walter Becker.

The pair are reunited with their old friends – the multi Grammy-winning soul and R&B hitmakers The Doobie Brothers, who also appear as part of a double bill.

BluesFest itself will run from Friday October 27th – Sunday 29th and will once again utilise all areas of The O2 complex, including the 14000-capacity Arena and Indigo at The O2. Further announcements of more artists will be made over the coming weeks.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday May 12th at 10am (O2 pre-sale begins on Wednesday May 10th at 10am and the Live Nation pre-sale begins at 10am on Thursday May 11th). Tickets are available from www.livenation.co.uk.
