Soweto Kinch has announced a new online festival that takes place in Autumn later this year.
Named after his 2019 album, “BlackPeril2020” is a unique collection of performances, and curated content to be screened online between 14th and 18th September.
As well as new commissioned performances there are historians, artists and notable cultural figures to discuss the modern implications of this past, plus local councillors, venues, promoters and cultural leaders to contribute to a lively series of panel discussions from cities right across the UK including London, Hull, Salford, Liverpool, Cardiff and Newport.
The hailed British saxophonist has recently joined the Jazz Committee of the Ivors Academy, headed up by Orphy Robinson MBE.
