Grammy award winning ensemble Snarky Puppy are starting their first music festival, which shares its name with their record label – Ground UP. Organised by bassist and bandleader Michael League, they have recruited an all-star group of friends and collaborators, including an announcement this week that Esperanza Spalding will be ‘Artist At Large’. British stars include Jacob Collier, Laura Mvula and Bill Laurance, while Terence Blanchard will appear along with the legendary David Crosby (from Crosby, Stills and Nash).

The event will run in mid-February at Miami Beach, Florida. The band is confidently predicting this will be the first of many festivals.
