Snarky Puppy announce 'Family Dinner Vol.2'
Grammy award winning band Snarky Puppy have officially announced the details of their next vocal album 'Family Dinner Vol. 2' to be recorded in New Orleans.
As reported here on August 4th, Grammy award winning band Snarky Puppy have now officially announced the details of their next album Family Dinner Volume 2. Amongst the guest singers and musicians will be David Crosby of Crosby. Stills and Nash, African music legend Salif Keita, Britain’s Laura Mvula and Jacob Collier, guitarist Charlie Hunter and more to be announced,
The recording will be live at Esplanade Studios in New Orleans on heals of Mardis Gras celebrations on February 12, 13, and 14. Fans are invited to sit amongst them as usual during six performances and the album will benefit a music charity called The Roots of Music, which empowers young people in New Orleans through music education whilst promoting New Orleans’ music heritage.
