San Francisco’s SFJAZZ has become a curator for the online Apple Music service. As such the venue will create regular playlists and collections for Apple Music subscribers based around themes spotlighting its artists and own initiatives and educational programs. They become the first venue to take on this role.

Playlists are at applemusic.com/sfJazz and currently include ‘San Francisco Jazz Festival,’ featuring some of those playing at this year’s festival, ‘Classics at the Center,’ with jazz standards, the ‘Joe Henderson Lab,’ with some of Joe Henderson’s best performances and ‘The Real McCoy’ in celebration of The Center’s forthcoming Tyner celebration on June 19th 2016.

The SF Jazz Collective recently released the live album ‘The Music of Michael Jackson and Original Compositions: Live’ which can be heard on Jazz FM.
