London’s Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club has been voted ‘Best Live Music Venue’ in the prestigious international ‘Platinum List Award’ created by American Airlines' Celebrated Living Magazine.

The survey of AA’s premium customers has come up trumps for Jazz; Ronnie’s shares the accolade with the cabaret venue Café Carlyle on Madison Avenue New York City, and The Spotted Cat Music Club on Frenchman Street in New Orleans.

Fourteen expert judges (noted connoisseurs in media, fashion, architecture and hospitality) were asked to nominate the best in international luxury travel before voting was opened up to American Airlines' loyal frequent flyers. They tell us that thousands of votes were cast, counted and compiled to create a definitive list of the best resorts, hotels, luxury cruises and tours, fine dining and nightlife spots around the world.

“Our Platinum List Awards issue of Celebrated Living magazine is a highlight of the year”, said Celebrated Living magazine Editor-in-Chief Eric Newill. “We’re delighted to showcase the best of the best in luxury travel, as these awards represent the most inspiring places, people and destinations that are making travel memorable and exciting today”.
