Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and their All-star band are taking to the high seas in 2017 in a new partnership with the Contemporary Jazz Cruise.

Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club is taking to the high seas in 2017 in a new partnership with the Contemporary Jazz Cruise.

The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, led by pianist James Pearson, will perform nightly in an on-board recreation of the famous Soho club called ‘Ronnie Scott’s at the Revelation Lounge.’ Vocalist Natalie Williams will front the band singing jazz standards and classics.

The week-long Caribbean cruise departs from Fort Lauderdale in Florida in Febraury 2017, taking in Nassau in the Bahamas, San Juan in Puerto Rico), Samaná in the Dominican Republic and the Haitian resort Labadee.

The Contemporary Jazz Cruise also features includes the host of Jazz FM’s ‘Transatlantic Jazz’ programme and Cruise music director Marcus Miller, trumpeter Terence Blanchard, guitarist Pat Metheny, Gregory Porter, vocalists Dianne Reeves and Lalah Hathaway, legendary Cuban pianist Chucho Valdes, saxophonist Joshua Redman and the Robert Glasper Trio.
