In a ground breaking collaboration Ronnie Scott’s are to present a five day ‘pop-up’ residency at The Jazz Cafe in London from 18th to 22nd December.

Two of London’s top jazz venues have organised a ground breaking collaboration. Ronnie Scott’s are to present a five day ‘pop-up’ residency at The Jazz Cafe from 18th to 22nd December.

On Sunday 18th December Serpentine Fire (an Earth, Wind & Fire tribute) present ‘Absolute Earth, Wind & Fire’ featuring three brass, two keyboards, percussion, guitar bass and drums, plus two extraordinary singers to perorm the hits and album tracks of the Grammy Hall Of Famers.  

Monday 19th December sees guitarist Ben Jones with drummer Richard Spaven and Blue Lab Beats share the bill for a night of hip hop steeped, electronic jazz flavours in a world where echoes of producer J Dilla and vibes legend Milt Jackson blend perfectly.

On Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd December the veteran Hammond B3 organist, and architect of Acid Jazz, James Taylor and his quartet play with the Nick Smart Horns and vocalist Yvonne Yanney.
