Record Store Day 2020 is just around the corner with dozens of labels and artists announcing special releases for the event, which is being celebrated worldwide this April. LA soul trio Moonchild are releasing a 7” remix with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Gary Clarke Jr. has a white vinyl single featuring Andra Day, Ezra Collective with their ‘Clash of the Galaxies’ and ‘Imminent’, a two-track remix 12” single by The Comet Is Coming released on Impulse!.

There’s plenty of limited edition archive material on offer as well, with pianist Bob James offering up his ‘Lost 1965 New York Studio Sessions’ with new interviews, sleevenotes and photographs. Charlie Parker’s ‘Jazz at Midnite’ will be available on vinyl for the first time, capturing a live performance from the Howard Theater in Washington, DC and a previously-unreleased Don Cherry EP will be available on Gearbox Records featuring three original compositions and one standard.
There will also be releases from Bill Evans ‘Lost Session from the Black Forest’, Thelonious Monk in Paris, Jack Wilson with Roy Ayers and so much more is only available in shops on Saturday April the 18th.
