Prince writing his memoirs
Prince announced to a gathering of New York fashionistas that he's writing his first book, about him. It's due for publication in 2017.
Prince has announced he’s writing a memoir, to be published in 2017. The 57-year-old told an audience in New York on Friday it would start from his first memory and up to the Super Bowl half-time performance he gave in 2007. The book is tentatively titled 'The Beautiful Ones' after a song from his 1984 album 'Purple Rain' and the singer has enlisted the help of, “my brother Dan,” (Dan Piepenbring of The Paris Review) to write it.
The publishers say, “Prince will take readers on an unconventional and poetic journey through his life and creative work.”
