Polly Gibbons to support George Benson on tour

British vocalist Polly Gibbons is to open for George Benson on his 2016 UK tour from June 20th. Polly was a nominee at the 2006 BBC Jazz Awards without even an album to her name. She has since gone on to build a reputation as being an original and contemporary voice, much respected among her contemporaries.

She also latterly globally released her hard swinging debut album ‘Many Faces of Love’ for the acclaimed US jazz label Resonance Records in 2015 after an American tour.

Composer Johnny Mandel said of Polly, “They don’t come along very often, but this one’s a star.”
