Limited-edition Vince Guaraldi Trio 'Peanuts' vinyl set to be released
Limited-edition picture disc vinyl features Snoopy and Woodstock to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Peanuts
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Peanuts, the long running comic strip created by Charles M. Shulz, Craft Recordings have announced a limited edition double vinyl set featuring the iconic jazz musical soundtrack from Vince Guaraldi and his trio.
Limited to 2,500 individually numbered copies, the collectible discs will be printed with the faces of Snoopy and Woodstock, under the title Peanuts Greatest Hits**** and featuring some of the recognisable jazz riffs from the TV series including ‘Baseball Theme’, ‘Linus And Lucy’ and the ‘Great Pumpkin Waltz’.
Charles M. Schulz first introduced the world to the Peanuts characters in 1950, when the Peanuts comic strip debuted in seven newspapers.
Peanuts Greatest Hits will be July 24th followed by another album called Peanuts Portraits**** released at the end of August.
