Sam Cooke, Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X and Jim Brown have been fictionally portrayed in an Amazon Original film called One Night In Miami, which is based on real events.
The fictional account, directed by the Academy Award-winning Regina King, depicts a legendary evening where the icons gathered one even during the civil rights era of the 1960s.
The story follows the famous four figures uniting to celebrate Muhammad Ali's surprise title fight win against Sonny Liston in February 1964, sealing his first world heavyweight championship.
The four iconic black men are played by Kingsley Ben-Adir (Malcolm X), Eli Gorree (Cassius Clay, later known as Muhammad Ali), Aldis Hodge (Jim Brown) and Leslie Odom Jr. (Sam Cooke).
Regina King, who directed the film, is known for her work on award-winning biopic Ray, If Beale Street Could Talk and many more cult films.
