Snarky Puppy have released a teaser video with an advanced look at their next album release.

In April 2014 the band teamed up with the Dutch Metropole Orkest, a large big band with an exceptional record of jazz collaborations. They recorded at the Energiehuis in Dordrecht, Western Netherlands, and performed a series of four intimate concerts with fans sat around them. These concerts now make up the next CD / DVD release from the band called ’Sylva', scheduled for release on the iconic jazz record label Impulse in April.

The Orkest was conducted by Jules Buckley and Snarky Puppy played under the direction of band leader and bassist Michael League. Together they created one giant ensemble which recorded music of funk, rock, cinematic and jazz influences.

Snarky Puppy are, right now, recording the next edition of their vocal project ‘Family Dinner Vol.2’ in New Orleans with guest British singers and musicians.
