Neil Cowley Trio seek your reimagination
Pianist Neil Cowley has launched a competition with SheetMusicDirect.com for fans and musicians to reinvent a piece from his forthcoming 'Spacebound Apes' project.
Neil Cowley Trio are inviting fans and musicians to be creatively involved in their upcoming ‘Spacebound Apes’ audio/visual project. The trio have released sheet music to ‘The City and The Stars’ free for a limited time exclusively on SheetMusicDirect.com.
Entrants to the competition will be able to record and upload videos of their own re-imagined interpretations, on any instrument, in any style, mood or tempo, even re-harmonized. All entries will be available to view on the site’s gallery.
The three best interpretations, as selected by Neil Cowley, will win prizes including signed goodie bundles of ‘Spacebound Apes’ on Vinyl and CD, a fully illustrated music book, an exclusive ‘Spacebound Apes’ print by DC Comics artist Sergio Sandoval, credit to spend on SheetMusicDirect.com, tickets to see the trio live on their upcoming tour including their October show at London’s Union Chapel, meet and greets and more.Â
