Marcus Miller returns on Blue Note

Renowned bass player Marcus Miller’s next album ‘Afrodeezia’ will be released on the iconic Blue Note record label this March.

Marcus was appointed as UNESCO Artist for Peace in 2013 and is spokesperson for the Slave Route project. The new album see him, “go back to the source of the rhythms that make our modern musical heritage so rich.” 

It’s a musical journey that took Miller from Africa to America, Mali to Paris, New Orleans to Sao Paulo and across the Caribbean. The album will reflect the great Black Music traditions and his new role as UNESCO ambassador and demonstrate his aspirations.
