Llandudno gets annual jazz festival
The inaugural annual Llandudno Jazz Festival will be staged at the coastal resort in North Wales 24th-26th July, featuring Darius Brubeck and Anita Wardell.
The inaugural annual Llandudno Jazz Festival will be staged at the coastal resort in North Wales 24th-26th July.
Organisers have confirmed an array big name performers including American pianist Darius Brubeck, son of jazz legend Dave Brubeck, British saxophonists Art Themen, Alan Barnes and Don Weller, vocalist Anita Wardell and more names to be announced. Local trumpet virtuoso Neil Yates is the Artistic Director.
It’s hoped this new festival will enhance cultural life and encourage more events in the wider region.
