Line-up revealed for 40th Guinness Cork Jazz Festival

The event in October boasts a range of international and Irish talent

The line-up has been announced for the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival which runs for the last weekend of October. It’s the 40th anniversary of the event, and this year’s headliners include Dee Dee Bridgewater, Monty Alexander, Kenny Garrett and Nicholas Payton alongside a host of British and Irish talent. Gary Crosby will celebrate Miles Davis with a complete performance of ‘Kind of Blue’ while Ronnie Scott’s will set up a temporary jazz club in the city centre. Acclaimed German pianist will close out the festival on Sunday night. Some 40,000 people are expected to attend from October 27-29.
