Kurt Elling back at Cheltenham Jazz Festival again
Grammy award-winning jazz vocalist Kurt Elling has been added to the line-up of this year’s Cheltenham Jazz Festival for a Frank Sinatra tribute.
Singer Kurt Elling has been added to the line-up of this year’s Cheltenham Jazz Festival once again. This year he’s part of the festival’s Frank Sinatra tribute. This is Sinatra’s centenary year with numerous high profile tributes and celebrations.
Elling joins British singers Clare Teal and Anthony Strong with the BBC Concert Orchestra and Guy Barker Big Band. Barker and Elling have recently collaborated on writing new material.
Speaking with Jazz FM's Nigel Williams recently he also revealed details of his next album due very soon called ‘Passion World’ which he described ias, “a collection of compositions I’ve collected from around the world from all these tours.”
