The master pianist's new album was recorded live in Budapest

Master pianist Keith Jarrett is releasing a new live double-album. The set documents a solo piano show at the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall in Budapest, Hungary.
It’s the second recording from Jarrett’s European tour, following his acclaimed Munich 2016 concert released last year.

Jarrett, whose roots go back to Hungary, saw the concert as a homecoming; the context inspired much creative improvisation. His later concerts are comprised of independent movements, each a marvel of spontaneous resourcefulness and creative energy.
